The wine has a deep, brilliant, intense red colour. The bouquet is complex and fruity, with blackberry and blackcurrant overtones. The tannin is firm, but elegant. There is also great acidity, which contributes freshness and elegance. Furthermore, the wine has a long, powerful aftertaste and a beautiful finish.
Château La Croix de Beaucaillou Saint Julien 2010Croix Beaucaillou, like a first growth, is therefore submitted to careful selection. Most of the wines coming from the plots of young vineyard as well as the lesser batches will incorporate the third growth which will be sold or... drunk at the chateau. Croix de Beaucaillou is thus subjected to a reasoned blending aimed at producing a wine which will of course reveal its assets earlier than Ducru B but also the characteristics of a great Saint Julien: elegance, finesse and of course its ability to age. It is worth noting that this wine is far superior to the connotation of 'second wine'. It is a great, noble wine, which we are sure will play a prominent role in the Saint-Julien appellation. La Croix de Beaucaillou has been bottled on the property since 1995. Until then, it was sold in bulk to Bordeaux wine merchants.

Château Charmail Haut Medoc 2004
Château Rollan de By Medoc 2010Since 1989, Rollan de By has found its style. On one hand, the terroir allows it to obtain well-bred and subtle wines and on the other hand, the work carried out in the vineyard and on the wines takes place with the greatest respect for the practices of the Medoc. The grape varieties planted are dominated by Merlot, providing wines with a fat and rounded character and the meticulous ageing magnifies all of their complexity. Jean Guyon, surrounded with well-known consultants as Alain Raynaud, continues the work he star- ted when he bought this domain, in order to stay at the heart of the Bordeaux elite.

Chateau Joinin Bordeaux 2010Chateau Joinin, a family-owned estate for several generations, was taken over in 1989 by Madame and Monsieur Mestreguilhem who decided to vinify their wine themselves. Also owners of Chateau Pipeau, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, in Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, with experience and know-how acquired over several years, they are able to put this to excellent use in the care taken of both vines and vinification necessary to produce a very high quality Bordeau red wine.
