The project is a joint venture of Jorge Ordonez and Rafael Canizares located in Alicante, Spain. The grapes are 100% Monastrell with the age of the vines 30-40 years old. The wine is 100% stainless steel fermented with some stirring of the lees to attain the maximum out of this variety. The soils are very chalky and are at an elevation of some 2,100 feet above sea level. The winery owns 457 acres of vineyards, some are under organic practices and are currently in the process of being certified organic.
