Wiese and Krohn LBV Porto 2004
Very dry year, with good flowering conditions. Some rainfalls in August were extremely helpful for the maturation process of the grapes. In the first half of September it rained again, but the grapes were not damaged by the weather. The yield was lower than in the previous year, and the quality proved to be much better than expected. Krohn's LBV Ports are neither fined nor filtered and may thus throw a sediment. We recommend to decant them before serving. Late Bottled Vintage Ports are affordable, fruity wines you should drink after meal with cheese, pies and all types of melon and berries.

Wine EnthusiastA sweet, rich opulent wine, very seductive, with soft tannins on a pillow of ripe fruits. There is a jelly character to the texture. The wine is full and generous, with light hints of acidity and spice.
