Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Rosé 2017The Pfalz (aka ‘Palatinate’) region is in the Rhine river valley in southwest Germany, directly north of France’s Alsace region. The low-lying Haardt mountains protect the area from cold, wet Atlantic weather, making it one of the warmer and drier areas of Germany. Wine grapes do quite well here where it is possible to achieve full ripeness in every vintage. The predominant soil type in this area is well-drained, weathered sandstone. It produces wines with a fruit-driven purity and a stony structure. The Villa Wolf Pinot Noir Rosé is made with fruit from vineyards farmed expressly for the purpose of producing a rosé. Only perfectly ripe , healthy grapes are selected. Upon harvest the fruit is given a brief maceration (four to six hours) to extract a lovely salmon color from the Pinot Noir grapes. The resulting wine is light and refreshing, with deliciously bright fruit flavors and a clean, zippy finish.

Domaine du Clos d'Alari Grand Clos Rosé 2015The wine has a pale, clear, and brilliant appearance. It has a subtle, delicate nose, with aromas of white peaches and pears, honeysuckle, and Herbes de Provence. On the palate, the wine is supple and balanced, with notes of honeysuckle, peaches and apricots. This is a great Rose de Provence. Domaine du Clos d’Alari is a small agricultural estate of 50 acres located in the middle of the Var region of Provence, not far from Lorgues. The domaine is run by a mother-daughter team of Anne-Marie and Nathalie. Together they look after the vineyard, assisted by an agricultural worker and an oenologist. The harvest has previously undergone short maceration at low temperature to exhale all its fruity bouquet and retain freshness and elegance. The savor and keep the custom is to enjoy a rosy year. Domaine de la Fouquette Cuvée Rosé d'Aurore 2017In the picturesque wooded ridges of the Massif de Maures in the village of Les Mayons in Provence, 3rd generation wine growers Isabelle and Jean-Pierre Daziano farm their small family domaine naturally (without the use of pesticides or chemicals) in order to produce fresh, terroir-driven wines that capture the essence of Provence. This crisp, dry rosé is the quintessential Provencal style, made from a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, and Rolle. It offers lovely citrus and strawberry aromas and flavors, with punchy watermelon notes on the palate accented by of currant and garrigue spice on the finish.

Château-Puech-Haut Prestige Rosé 2017Not yet reviewed; 2015 vintage rated 90-92 points by Jeb Dunnuck (Wine Advocate): "The entry-level Rosé is the 2015 Languedoc Cuvee Prestige Rose, and it continues to be a sensational value. Made from 60% Grenache and 40% Cinsault, it’s light pink color is followed by perfumed notes of strawberries, orange blossom and spring flowers. Juicy, clean and refreshing, yet with texture, buy a case of this." The Prestige Rosé is finished in a unique opaque bottle with an all glass closure. Chateau Puech Haut occupies 170 hectares including 100 hectares of vines in Saint-Drézéry, a small village 15 km northeast of Montpellier, in the foothills of the Cevennes and belongs to the AOC Coteause du Langedoc. In Provence, a 'Puech' means a small hill (or mountain), a 'Puech Haut' is a hill higher than the others. This position, 'on a hill higher than the others', is conducive to exceptional drainage for the vineyards. The clay and limestone soil is composed of boulders brought by the Rhone in the Quaternary and its plots reside on hillsides protected from excessive temperatures by the nearby Mediterranean Sea and winds including the Mistral, the north wine pervasive in the region.
Saget-La-Perriére La Petite Perrière Rosé 2017A pale, shiny and slightly pink color. The complex delicate nose is a subtle blend of rose petal, grenadine and berries. The attack on the palate is supple, light and fresh. The finish is a pleasant softness, enhanced by a slight vivacity, which accompanies fresh aromas of raspberry and grenadine. Clarendelle Rosé 2017Thanks to very short maceration in a controlled atmosphere and direct pressing, the wine has a beautiful pale pink colour as well as a rich, smooth flavour. The nose displays the Clarendelle Rosé style, with hints of tangy red fruit, as well as ripe citrus such as pink grapefruit and tropical fruit such as lychee. Round, very mineral, and slightly saline on the palate, Clarendelle Rosé is altogether delicious. It is suave and concentrated, while remaining tremendously fresh and fruity. Serving Suggestions:Serving temperature: 10°-12.5°C. This wine can be served immediately after uncorking, without decanting.
