This wine is suitable for tasty and elaborate meat dishes and for dry mature cheeses.
Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2012Our 2012 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon artfully combines the classic elegance of the old world and the ripe fruit of California. It displays an opaque garnet color with a bouquet driven by fruity aromas of blackberry liqueur. It also offers the savory components of sage and molasses. These complex aromatics are complemented by sandalwood and nutmeg characteristics indicative of American oak aging. This is a well-structured wine with a compact and rich mid-palate buttressed by silky tannins and generous acidity. Given proper cellaring, this wine will provide drinking pleasure through 2037. Excellemt for gifts, important client meetings, special dinners, to add to your wine cellar. The 2012 vintage was broadly described as outstanding, exceptional, ideal and a gift from Mother Nature. This is the first of three consecutive heralded vintages. The dry winter was the beginning of the extended drought period in California, but well-timed rainfall in February and March, as well as two inches in mid-April, filled the soil profile before the coming season. Budbreak was even and bloom progressed quickly, leading to clusters with both high quality and high quantity potential. The summer weather was wonderfully cooperative, with only a single day’s high above 100 degrees from May through the end of September before a short heat event on October 1st and 2nd. We began harvest on September 11th and concluded on October 19th, after which an inch of much-needed rain fell on October 23rd.

Grapes are 100% destemmed. Unfiltered. Aging four months in second passage barriques.
Le Cirque Rouge 2013Big and bold, with smoky, spicy black cherry, cassis and garrigue aromas. Full-bodied, with a long finish. Excellent with grilled meats and vegetables.
Catena Zapata Alta Cabernet Sauvignon 2010The Catena Cabernet Sauvignon shows a dark ruby color with violet tones. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, and cassis with notes of pepper, clove, and a touch of cedar. On the palate, it is full-bodied and rich and displays layers of black currant and black raspberry with notes of cedar, tobacco and vanilla. This Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant wine with silky tannins that provide structure and a long and persistent finish.
Jim Barry The Lodge Hill Shiraz 2013Presents an inky/opaque almost black with dark magenta hue. Aromatically it offers sweet spice, aniseed, rousting herbs, mulberry, black berry and vine fruits. Exuberant palate with juicy purple fruits of the blue berry, black currant type hoisted upon chalk like fine grained tannins, finishing long and juicy. This wine is ideally suited to good food, good friends and good conversation.

True to its name, our Gewürztraminer offers up varietal spiciness, along with intense aromas and flavors of lychee, tangerine, orange, peach, melon, apple, honey, and cream. It has an excellent balance of acidity with a slight minerality. Restrained and off-dry, our Gewürztraminer is excellent with Thai cuisine, especially curries and sweet peanut sauces. It also pairs well with sauerbraten and sausage dishes.

La Valentina Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2012Deep ruby colour, with purple shadows. The bouquet shows rose, delicate red fruits similar to currant and raspberry, pepper, clove and accents of brush. Medium-bodied, in the mouth is velvety, with hints of plum, blueberry and licorice, with fresh and energetic tannins. FOOD PAIRING Timbale, lamb meat and medium-aged cheese.

Melville Estate Pinot Noir 2012Ruby red in color, fresh fruit aromatics of mandarin orange, black raspberry and grilled watermelon spring from the glass. On the palate, pretty nuances of rose petal, gardenia and oolong tea mingle with herbal notes of sandalwood, star anise, fresh thyme and fennel seed. The mouthfeel is plush and velvety yet finishes with significant persistence and volume.

Chandon étoile RoséThe wine is elegant and restrained with fresh aromas of plum, raspberry and nutmeg. These aromas follow through on the palate and are layered with subtle and delicate flavors of cocoa powder. The wine finishes with excellent length and richness. Food Pairings: The understated power of étoile Rosé makes it an excellent foil for the richness found in foie gras or chicken liver paté. Napanook Red Wine 2012Made solely from grapes grown at the historic Napanook Vineyard in Yountville, Napanook is blended from blocks in the vineyard that were carefully selected for their lively fruit, soft tannins and early maturing characteristics. The 2012 Napanook is a clear expression of an exceptional vintage. Pure aromas of fresh strawberry, caramel and minty sage fill the nose. Vigorous and rich with firm, yet integrated tannins, the wine offers earthy complexity, dark cocoa and roasted almonds on a long lingering finish. Napanook 2012 is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot. This wine is created to be consumed young and enjoyed with food, but will also age well for more than a decade. Christian Moueix recommends decanting young wines before serving to allow them to reach their full potential. Celebrating its 17th vintage, Napanook dons a new label in 2012. The bold black and white design reflects the wine's maturity, definition and class.
Pasquale Pelissero Barbaresco Bricco San Giuliano 2011This classic-style Barbaresco comes from the oldest vines on the estate, from a vineyard enjoying southwest exposure, situated at an altitude of about 400 meters above sea level, with clayey/calcareous soils. Carefully selection of the bunches starts in the vineyard, where the grapes are hand-harvested starting in the end of September through mid-October. After soft pressing of the grapes, the juice is macerated on the skins for at about 30 days as per traditional methods at a controlled temperature. Then, the wine is aged for at least 24 months in large oak barrels, smaller barriques and tonneaux.
Mollydooker Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz 2015The Blue Eyed Boy Shiraz has an incredibly lifted nose. Aromas of ripe blackberry, dark cherry and mocha greet you, followed by rich black liquorice and vanilla pod notes. The careful use of American oak hums seamlessly in the background and finishes with a beautiful creamy mouthfeel. The Fruit WeightTM and intensity of the Blue-Eyed Boy never ceases to amaze us.
Bedrock Wine Co. North Coast Syrah 2012As with the 2012 Old Vine this wine hopefully punches way above its price tag. The 2012 is composed of Weill Vineyard, Hudson Vineyard, a couple barrels of Griffin's Lair, Rossi Ranch, and even a barrel of the gorgeous 2012 Alder Springs Syrah. All of the vineyards were fermented with 40-80% whole-cluster and the wine saw roughly 15% new French oak. This is like a hybrid of the dense 2009 and the intensely perfumed 2011 with all the beautifully savage aromatics of game, pepper, olive, violets and hart blood and with dense, smoky fruit and structure. Hopefully a great domestic alternative to Gonon or Graillot- the two G's of greatness.
Opus One Napa Valley Red 1996A decreased berry set in May followed by sunny days and warm July nights brought the smaller-than-average crop of 1996 to maturity in mid-September. Showing deep color, the wines are bold and concentrated, with supple texture, lush flavors, and a smooth, lingering finish.

Calera Central Coast Viognier 2013Aromas of white peach, ripe pear, lilac and orange blossoms hint at the incredible mouthful of cantaloupe, green apple, clover honey and a hint of mandarin. This lively, succulent, silky Viognier possesses flavors of musky mango, sweet-tarts, tropical papaya and jasmine; mouth filling and bright. Yum.
