Appearance: This immensely pleasurable wine has a beautiful crystal-clear colour with brilliant garnet-red highlights. Nose: Appetizing hints of red fruit, especially strawberry and raspberry, are released when the wine is swirled in the glass. Mouth: Specially made to be fruity and flavoursome, this wine epitomizes the expertise of winegrowers and winemakers in a vintage considered traditional in Bordeaux. It is very smooth and attractive on the palate, as well as wonderfully balanced, and the tannin enhances the overall impression of fruitiness. The aftertaste is fresh and, once again, red fruit flavours predominate. This wine is ideal with salads, as well as cold or hot meat dishes.
The 2014 Bonnet from the Entre-Deux-Mers has a light, slightly earthy bouquet that just needs a little more fruit concentration. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannin and a slightly attenuated finish. Easy-drinking fare, no more, no less.
