The 2015 Sicilia Grillo Cavallo delle Fate Tenuta Regaleali opens to attractive roundness and a more evident sense of richness that suits this white wine well. It is aged on the lees in stainless steel for four months. The bouquet reveals apricot, citrus, honeydew melon and a touch of saffron. The wine offers toned lines and some soft contours that together form a very affordable medium-bodied white. Some 85,000 bottles are produced.

Hints of spice and fresh herb accent the poached apricot, slivered almond and blood orange zest flavors in this bright and balanced white. Drink now through 2019. 7,500 cases made.

This opens with delicate scents of pear and pressed yellow flower. The tangy palate shows lemon zest, nectarine and a hint of Mediterranean herb while a saline note provides backup.
