The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Abbaye de Morgeot ler Cru has a more airy and floral bouquet than the Embathes, leaning slightly towards Puligny in style. The palate doesn't quite match the promise set by the nose - it is quite weighty and concentrated with an overtly spicy finish. I was expecting more precision here, and I might prefer the previous vintage.
