A cuvée that's entirely vinified by Jadot, even though it's produced from purchased fruit, the 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Village (Maison Louis Jadot) offers up notions of sweet cassis, spices, grilled meats and orange rind. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, ample and velvety, its youthfully chewy structuring tannins only asserting themselves on the finish.
