Layer Cake Sauvignon Blanc 2019
|Region||New Zealand, Marlborough|
This pale golden-hued wine is on the riper side of the Sauvignon spectrum. It exudes heady notes of peach, apple, lime and honeysuckle. The palate is round and slippery in texture with weighty fruit but enough acidity to buoy it. The finish is abrupt.
Lemon-lime and pear flavors are light, crisp and transparent, with hints of orange zest and lemon verbena on the finish. Drink now. 16,282 cases made, 10,500 cases imported.
