Disgorged in March 2019 without dosage, the NV Shaman Rosé 16 is a blend of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir. It's showing beautifully, wafting from the glass with notes of red apple, orange oil and spices, framed by a deft patina of oak vanillin. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, chalky and incisive, with a ripe and expressive core of fruit and racy balancing acids, concluding with a saline, delicately wood-inflected finish.
