Fine and expressive in the nose (fruit, cherry, raspberry), on the palate it is ample with a hint of liquorice. Supple, with very full tannins in the finish.

The deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Tauzinat l'Hermitage sings of baked plums, blueberry pie and chocolate-covered cherries with hints of camphor, licorice and unsmoked cigars. Full-bodied, the palate is packed with black fruit layers and plenty of savory and spicy sparks, framed by firm, rounded tannins, finishing long.

A rich, heady wine, the 2018 Tauzinat L'Hermitage is loaded with jammy dark red fruit, mocha, new oak, spice and licorice. I would give the 2018 a few years to soften, as the tannins are pretty imposing at this stage. This is an especially dense, luscious Saint-Émilion, but there is good energy too.
