The 2019 Côte de Beaune-Villages, which contains 3-5% whole clusters, offers dark berry fruit on the nose with lovely iris petal aromas. The palate is well balanced and very smooth. The 15% new oak lends a bit of polish, a splash of balsamic towards the finish. Excellent. Very elegant.
