A benchmark producer of Sangiovese, this estate dates back to the 1600s, and was well known for its exceptional berries. This offering is essentially a Rosso di Montalcino that saw too much time in oak to qualify, so it was declassified. Pair this structured and elegant dry red with osso buco.
