The 2019 Cabernet Franc (43% sourced from White Springs vineyard, the rest from 16 Falls) was aged for 12 months in third use, 2,000-liter Hungarian casks, meaning that there isn't going to be a lot of oak impact here. It comes in at 12.9% alcohol. This adds a welcome layer of concentration in terms of mouthfeel to the Pinot Noir this issue, plus more exuberant fruit, thanks to the greater youth here as well as the grape. It is still a bit too much on the delicate side, but this also doesn't have the same aspirations as the Pinot Noir. It is meant to be drunk younger, and it's a much better value. Indeed, it drinks well even now, and it should be a popular, fresh choice in a summer-red style. It is worth leaning up for the moment, but don't expect it to turn into anything much more. It might, in fact, be more likely to go down than up from here. The structure is too modest to support much development, but it will undoubtedly at least hold well for several years. In the meantime, it tastes great and goes down easy. That's a hint.
