Whiffs of cherry blossoms and raspberry pastilles introduce this perfumed, sun-drenched expression of Les Rugiens, one of Pommard's best-known premier-cru sites. While squarely structured in tannin and framed by an earthen, stony undertow, the ample red-cherry and plum flavors reflect the heat and sun of the vintage. Cellar till 2024 at least. The wine should improve through 2035 and hold further.
