Condado de Haza Ribera del Duero 2014
|Spain, Ribera del Duero
|Condado de Haza
Color: Burgundy in colour with a medium-intense violet rim. Aroma: Intense oral and fruity aromas on the nose coupled with spicy notes from the ageing process in American oak. Taste: Smooth in the mouth, with well integrated acidity, highlights of redcurrant, liquorish, and vanilla with smoky notes. Long, complex aftertaste.
Savory notes of black olive and licorice wrap around a core of bright cherry fruit in this lively red, which has fresh acidity, with modest tannins anchoring the round texture. The best of three bottles tasted. Drink now. 2,500 cases imported.
