This Malbec de Luján de Cuyo seduces with its violet red color, very deep. The nose has a great presence of red fruits with acid notes, cassis, strawberry. Slowly it is showing notes of caramel, spices, white pepper, chocolate and graphite together with delicate menthol and rosemary notes. It has a remarkable breadth in the mouth, it is an enveloping wine, with sweet, elegant and firm tannins. It has a very long end and great persistence.

Dense mossy aromas of blackberry are slightly murky. Forget about delicacy on the palate, this is full-bodied and clattering. Blackberry, cassis, black cherry and chocolate flavors finish spicy. This is at maximum ripeness. Drink through 2022.

The 2014 Bramare Luján de Cuyo Malbec is plumier and riper, and as it was produced and aged in a similar fashion as the one from Valle de Uco, I guess it just showed the character of the warmer vintage in a warmer place. The effect of the oak was more noticeable here, and overall it's a matter of preference, because the quality is similar. Today, I prefer the one from Valle de Uco. 86,400 bottles produced.
