Joseph Drouhin Vosne-Romanée 2016
|Region||France, Burgundy, Cote de Nuits|
Wine AdvocateThe 2016 Vosne-Romanée Village has more dark berry fruit on the nose than I was expecting and just needed a little more floral aromas to pin it down as a Vosne-Romanée. The palate is well balanced with supple tannin, a mixture of blue and black fruit with just a tang of soy on the aftertaste. Like the Gevrey-Chambertin, this is a very commendable village cru that should drink well for a decade but will drink earlier than others.
