Gaja Ca'Marcanda Magari 2016
|Region||Italy, Tuscany, Bolgheri|
Bright and deep color. The nose is rich and concentrated, it starts fresh then develops balsamic notes and scents of graphite, juniper and licorice then turning into a more mellow character with dark fruit and rhubarb. The palate is sweet and voluminous, with notes of mulberry and sour cherry. Fine-grained, silky tannins with a long-lasting, sapid finish.
Black currant and black cherry fruit mingles with mint, olive, graphite and tobacco notes in this red. Elegant, with ample density and bright acidity, ending in a firm, fruit-, mineral- and herb-tinged aftertaste. Well-proportioned and classy. Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
