A fruity nose of figs and sloe as well as floral notes. Medium-bodied palate, quite supple tannins with some black cherry. An elegant and modest wine but delicious! Pair with rib eye steak, roasted duck breast, tajine, couscous, or Mimolette cheese.

The 2020 Pommard Village has an overt minty element on the nose that combines nicely with the black fruit. The palate is sweet and nicely balanced with a fine bead of acidity. You might imagine there is some whole bunch here but there is none. Quite tannic on the finish.
