Rubis color. A floral nose with hints of red berries, strawberries, black current and rose petal. In the mouth, the texture is fine and supple. At the end we find spicy notes. A pleasant wine to drink young. Food and wine pairing: Roasted chicken or poultries, veal sauté or blanquette and soft cheeses.

The 2020 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Vergelesses 1er Cru Rouge has a fairly hightoned nose, although this veers more towards the red fruit spectrum compared to the Domaine's other cuvées this vintage. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, finely balanced with a fresh, sous-bois-tinged finish. Very fine.
